Eventually, we all have to choose.

Anne Borin PR

In the idyllic upscale neighborhood of Verterra Hill, a privatized community of manicured lawns and sprawling colonials, four strangers make a choice that sets in motion a series of events that will change their lives, the lives of some not-so-innocent homeowners and a troubled police force, forever. On a road full of twists and turns each group will be forced to make a decision that will send them all careening headlong into a deadly confrontation. In a place where nothing is what it seems and no one is who they appear to be, only one thing is certain: all choices come with a price.

Director's Statement

Choice -- that's what Junction comes down to for me. Almost everyone in Junction (either through action or inaction) find themselves negotiating their life in the wake of their choices.

This was the starting place for me as I began to write the script and this idea stayed with me throughout rewrites, throughout pre-production, production and even now as I write this.

There are other themes at work but rather than spoil anything for anyone I'll refrain from discussing them here -- although they are also important.

But the main one, for me, is choice: how, why , when we choose or do not choose, when we are morally conflicted about it, when we could care less -- and the consequences that sometimes follow as a result. That was the germ of it. That's what kicked this story in motion for me.
